Canada’s Immigration Records
Immigration records refer to any record of a foreign-born person entering Canada to live. These would include ship lists, railway records, border crossing, quarantine records and citizenship & naturalization records.
If an immigration record is available to be found you should first know as much as possible about the immigrant you seek. This will help narrow down when and where to look. Use other records like census, vital statistics, and newspapers, as well as records from their originating country if possible.
