Quebec Vital Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967
A link to the Drouin Collection on ancestry.ca  Fees ($) are charges to access the database at that website. Until the late 1900s, church registers in Quebec served as civil and vital records in the province. The database contains church records from all denominations in Quebec up to 1940. The majority of the records are of baptisms, marriages, and burials, but other record types are included. The database is not indexed by person's names. To locate a baptism, marriage or burial record, you will need to know the location, church and date where the record will be found and then review the images of the church registers.
