Rochester NY, aged 31 years. She was born in Fort William Ont. in 1899, a
daughter of the late James and Mrs. Piper, surviving are her husband and little
daughter, Joyce, aged 08 years, her mother, Mrs. James Piper, of Fort William,
three brothers, J. Talwin of Winnipeg, Ralph of Rochester NY, and Earle of Fort
William. The funeral was held on January the sixth from her home in Maywood,
Illinois, to Glen Oak Cemetery, Rev. Walter L. Wilson of Emmenuel Church
conducted the service.

Brooklet PQ, died at Huntingdon PQ, aged 96 years 05 months 11 days. Mrs. Rennie
was born in Franklin PQ, and married John G. Rennie of Brooklet PQ, in 1862. She
leaves to mourn her loss two sons, four daughters, 13 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

92 years. Mrs. Kennedy was born in St Chrysostome PQ, a member of the Roman
Catholic Church at Hemmingford PQ. She is survived by two nephews, Dr. Pete G.
McGill of Superior Wisconsin, and Hugh McGill of Malone,N.Y., two nieces, Mrs.
John Cassidy of Chateauguay, and Mrs. Arthur Beaudin of Ormstown PQ. And her
grand nephew, William O'Gorman, Interred at Hemmingford PQ.

02-02-1930 Annie Lourie Miller, Widow of the late W. S. Mayhall and youngest
daughter of the late Robert Miller and Margaret Craig of Hemmingford PQ, died at
her late residence, in Tamarac Minnesota, aged 79 years. She was married twice,
her first husband being John Wilson of Sawyer Minnesota, who died in 1913, a few
years later she married W. S. Mayhall of Tamarac Minnesota, who died in 1926,

02-28-1930 Mrs. Jane Maither, of Burke New York, Widow of the late James
Maither, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. McKinley Rinehart. The
deceased, whose maiden name was Jean Struthers, was born near Athelstan PQ, 81
years ago. In 1870 she married James Maither, a number of years later they went
across the border and resided in Burke New York, Mr. Burke died about ten years
ago. Surviving are six children, Mrs. Anna Welch, Mrs. A M. Shattuck, and
Wilbert Maither all of Burke New York. Mrs. Georgina Cowan of Chateauguay, and
George C. Maither of Ottumwa IA. A sister, Mrs. E. L. Healy, of Red Lake Falls,
two brothers, Williams Struthers of Walla Walla Washington, and John Struthers
of Fairbaugh Minnesota, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral
services held from Rennie's Church in Brooklet PQ.

Mrs. Jane Eccles him, Misses Alice and Frank Ellerton, a brother-in-law, Jane
Nicholson, besides several nieces and nephews in different parts of Canada and
the United States.

05-23-1930 Emma Henderson, daughter of Robert Henderson, and beloved wife of
William A Hunter, died at Huntingdon PQ, age 55 years.Mrs. Hunter was an active
worker in the interest of her town and Church. During the war she served on the
Huntingdon Red Cross committee. Her death will be a distinct loss to St. John's
Church, of which he was a lifelong member, and where her chief interest was
centered. For more than 25 years she was organist of that Church, and for almost
the same period of time held office as secretary of the womens Auxiliary,
succeeding to the presidency in 1923. In 1927 she was one of the members of the
delegation from the Dioceseof Montreal to the triennial meeting of the board of
management of the women's Auxiliary, held in Toronto, and on numerous locations
represented that local branch at Montreal diocesan and deanery meetings. Also
active in the Huntingdon women's Institute and the Altar Guild. She leaves to
mourn her loss her father, Mr. Robert Henderson, of Huntingdon, her husband and
two children, Amy and Gerald. Funeral service was largely attended and held at
St. John's Anglican Church on Sunday afternoon by Rev. DJ McDonald, Rector
officiating.

daughters and three sons remain, Mrs. George Jacques, of Bombay New York, Mrs.
Walter Mott, of New York City, Mrs. Patrick O'Connor, Mrs. Thomas O'Connor, and
Teresa and Gertrude of Huntingdon. Alexander of Montreal, Walter of Malone,N.Y.,
and Marcus who resides that home, also four brothers, John of Huntingdon,
Charles of Winnipeg, Hugh and Patrick of Bridgeport Connecticut, also several

home, and came to live in Battle Creek on July 06, 1881. Mrs. McRae is survived
by her husband, Donald McRae, four sons, William W. McRae of Cleveland OH, Alex
J. McRae, John D. McRae, and Findlay McRae, all of Battle Creek, three
daughters, Mrs. Herbert Whelan, Mrs. Noble T. Norman, and Mrs. Ernest F. Weeks,

York, he was born in Elgin Township PQ, April 21, 1842. Surviving him are two
sons, Fred Caldwell, engineer in Montreal, Charles Caldwell, of Southbridge, one
daughter, Mrs. Harriet Richardson of Winchester, two sisters, Miss Margaret
Caldwell of Andover and Mrs. Clara Ferguson of Dundee PQ.

12-15-1930 Agnes Adams, wife of the late James Merson, died at Huntingdon PQ,
age 77 years 11 months.the deceased was in Illinois in 1853, she was the
youngest daughter of the late John Adam and Margaret Sterling, and was married
at Huntingdon to James Merson of Huntley, Scotland, on April 26, 1876, coming to
the farm in Elgin Township where she has lived ever since. Four of her children
have predeceased her, also her husband in February 1922. She used to mourn her
loss, two sons, Wallace and Robert of Elgin, seven grandchildren. Funeral
services at St. Andrew's Church.
