01-01-1934 Rebecca Jane Maither, Widow of the late Dugald S. Struthers, died at 
Bethune SK, age 75 years. Formerly of St. Remi PQ. 
01-01-1934 Margaret Jane Watt, Widow of Donald W. Tully, died at her late 
residence, 194 De Salisbury Boulevard, Chateauguay PQ, aged 85 years. The late 
Mrs Tully was born on March 25, 1848, the only child of Robert Watt and Mary 
Lang. She was married in 1880 to Donald Walker Tully and came to live in the 
town at Bide-A-Wee Cottage, which has been her home ever since. The funeral 
which was held from her residence on January 03 was conducted by Rev. Dr. J D. 
Anderson of Beauharnois PQ, assisted by Rev. W. T.Prittle of Chateauguay and 
Rev. Dr. George A MacLennan of Montreal. Interred in the Protestant Cemetery at 
Chateauguay PQ.

Interred in Hillside Cemetery. Mrs. Fall was born at Herdman PQ, a daughter of 
the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lavery and married Mr. Fall of thousand Islands in 
1880, who predeceased her ten years ago, also one son Thomas Lavery who passed 
away when quite young. She is survived by seven children, three sons, Fred, 
David, and Raymond of Chateauguay, four daughters, Mrs. William Myatt, Mrs. John 
Wood, Mrs. Albert Rosevear of Powerscourt, and Mrs. Amos Myatt of Brooklet PQ. 
Ten grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Mary Mason of the Gore, Hinchinbrooke PQ, 
Mrs. Catherine Crutchfield of Huntingdon PQ, Mrs. Henry McLaren of new Milford 
Connecticut, Mrs. Emma Gamble of Herdman PQ, and one brother, Thomas Lavery of 
new Milford Connecticut. 
01-09-1934 Dr. Vilda I Grouix, late of Valleyfield PQ, died at Cobourg Ont.. 
01-12-1934 Norman McLeod Paul, youngest son of the late James Paul and Victoria 
Morrison, died at his late residence in Elgin Township PQ, of pneumonia, age 61 
years. A grandson of the late James Paul and Ann Caldwell, who settled in this 
district in 1821, and lived all his life on the same farm which had belonged to 
the Paul's fourth three generations.

Walter Boucher, (nee Eveline Larche) and three sisters, Cecile, Claire, and Rea 
at home. Funeral was held from Coutus Cuneral Home, burial was in the Cathedral 
Cemetery.

years. 
01-19-1934 Isabel Mary Cameron, Widow of the late William Fraser, of Valleyfield 
PQ, died at her home, 18 Cousineau Street, Valleyfield PQ, age 69 years. She 
leaves to mourn her death, two sons, Alexander of Sudbury Ont., and Roderick of 
California, and two daughters, Mrs. Shaw (Margaret) of Avoco PQ, and Isabel of 
Valleyfield PQ. The funeral was held from the United Church in Valleyfield PQ.
01-20-1934 Stephen Ford, beloved husband of Elizabeth Clark, died at Montreal 
PQ, age 59 years. 
01-19-1934 Agnes G. Gaynor, formerly of St Anicet PQ, died at the home of her 
nephew, Frank Rogers, in Constable New York, aged 78 years. She was born 78 
years ago in St Anicet PQ. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gaynor. 
Mrs Gaynor spent the greater part of her life nursing in Springfield MA. She is 
survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Brogan of Springfield MA, Mrs. Joseph 
Dorias of Piercefield New York, and Miss Katherine Gaynor of Chicago IL, also 
one brother, John of Idaho, also three nephews, Thomas, James and Frank Rogers 
of Constable New York, also many grand nieces and nephews. The funeral was held 
Monday morning from St. Bridget's Church in Trout River with interment in the 
Trout River Cemetery. 
01-17-1934 Adele Dupont, Widow of Trancredo Charles Laberge, died at Chateauguay 
PQ, age 74 years. 
01-20-1934 Edward Albert Lucas, second son of the late William Lucas and his 
wife, Sarah Goundrey of Dewittville PQ, died at the Royal Victoria Hospital, in 
Montreal PQ, age 63 years. Mr. Lucas was born in Dewittville PQ on January 10, 
1871, and resided on the same farm all his life. Mr. Lucas had both his legs 
amputated after being frozen. He leaves to mourn his loss, two brothers, Thomas 
of Boyd Settlement, Fred at home, and a niece, Miss Viola Lucas, R.N. of New 
York City, a brother, John, predeceased him about 14 years ago. Funeral service 
was held in St. Andrew's Church on the arrival of the New York Central train on 
Monday morning and was conducted by his pastor, Rev. J.B.Maclean, D.D. Interred 
in Huntingdon Protestant Cemetery. 
01-13-1934 Alexander B. McHardy, formerly of Powerscourt PQ, died at Minneapolis 
MN, aged 80 years. He was father of John A McHardy, deputy United States 
internal revenue collector in charge of the Minneapolis district, besides his 
son John, he is survived by another son, Roy H., four grandchildren, and one 
brother, Charles McHardy of Huntingdon PQ. 
01-23-1934 Anna Cecile McEwan, wife of the late Richard Ryan, of Pembroke Ont., 
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Leahy, in Franklin Center PQ, age 71 
years. Interred in Pembroke Ont. 
01-22-1934 Octave Tremblay, of Franklin Center PQ, died at the Hotel Dieu 
Hospital in Valleyfield PQ, aged 51 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, his aged 
mother, Mrs. Julius Tremblay, three brothers, Raymond and Julius of this place, 
and Moses of Concorde New Hampshire, also three sisters, his wife, who was Miss 
Lena Wood, of Cherubusco New York, 10 children, five sons and five daughters. 
Sons are Merrill of Montreal, Alberard of Rome New York, Eugene Ernest and 
Norman, daughters are Irene, Mrs. Joseph Dumas, of Franklin Center, Corrine,

02-04-1934 James Castell Sr, of Dewittville PQ, died at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Frances Chartrand in Montreal PQ. Age 76 years. Mr. Castell was 
born in Dewittville PQ on February 22, 1858. He was the second son of the late 
Joseph Castel and his wife, Elizabeth McCallum, his wife who was formerly Mary 
Rice, pre-deceased him 16 years ago. Of this union five children were born, one 
son James of Dewittville, and four daughters, Lena, Mrs. Frances Chartrand of 
Montreal, Annie, Mrs. William Seery, Florence, Mrs. Leslie Amell, both of Tupper 
Lake New York, and Alice, Mrs. Roy Pichey of Lockport New York, all of whom 
survived him. Besides his family he leaves for brothers, Antoine of Dewittville, 
Joseph and Andrew of Saskatchewan, and Alex who for many years is Captain of the 
fire department, No. 10, in Montreal PQ, and one sister, Mrs. George McCallum of 
Portage du Fort. Funeral service held in St. Joseph's Church in Huntingdon PQ, 
and Interred in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Huntingdon PQ, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Rogers of Lachute 
PQ, age 76 years. Deceased was a daughter of the late John Ferns of Dewittville 
PQ, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. David J. Roger of Lachute, and Mrs. 
Carl G. Showers of Sandwich Ont., and two sons, John and Elwin of New York.

02-07-1934 Margaret E. McDonald, beloved wife of James Maloney, died suddenly at 
her home, 22 McClelland Street, Saranac Lake New York, aged 45 years. She was 
born and Ogdensburg New York, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A R. McDonald. In 
1917 she married James Maloney who had resided there for 25 years. One son, 
Donald Maloney, who is now 15 years of age was born of that union. Survived by 
her husband and son, her father and mother and two brothers, Alex and Roderick 
McDonald of Ogdensburg New York and one sister, Mrs. William Nash of Ogdensburg. 
Funeral service was held Saturday at St. Bernards Church in Saranac Lake. 
02-07-1934 Eliza Jane Bustard, Widow of the late Benjamin W. Roberts, died at 
Havelock PQ, age 70 years. She was eldest daughter of the late Thomas and 
Elizabeth Bustard, and wife of the late Benjamin W. Roberts, she died on 
Wednesday morning Feb. 07, 1934. At Havelock PQ. The late Mr. and Mrs. Roberts 
had no family of their own but took as a very small boy, Walter Seed, and who 
has lived with them and very faithfully and kindly cared for them the remainder 
of their days. Mrs. Roberts leaves two nephews, Mr. Willis Roberts of Ormstown 
PQ, and Mr. Torrance Brisbin and one niece, Miss Mary Brisbin of Havelock PQ. 
The Late Mrs. Roberts was born in Folsom California, and came to this country 
with her parents as a very small girl. The funeral was held in Trinity Church of 
which she was a lifelong member. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. 
W. Howard, Rev. James E. Lloyd.

02-17-1934 Murial Blackwood Ormsby, beloved wife of Dr. E. Harrison Ormsby, and 
youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blackwood, died at Amsterdam 
New York, age 46 years. She was born in Martintown Ont., a daughter of Robert 
Blackwood and Elizabeth Clark, entered the Albany Hospital nurses training 
school and graduated in 1914 receiving her R.N. degree. Besides her husband, 
Mrs. Ormsby is survived by one daughter, Peggy, two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Hastings of Huntingdon PQ, and Mrs. A H Oliver of Montreal, one brother, Dr. 
A.C. Blackwood, of Calgary AB. Funeral was held Monday, service conducted by

Center PQ, on June 23rd, 1892. She was married to Orrel E. Harrison of 
Sherbrooke PQ, on Sept. 11, 1918. In addition to her husband, she leaves two 
sisters, Mrs. L. A George of Masonville PQ, and Mrs.R.A. McIntosh of Dewittville

was the eldest son of the late Robert and Eliza Gardner and was born in Boyd 
Settlement, Hinchinbrooke PQ, in 1875. He was married to Helena Patterson of 
Haldemand, Gaspe PQ, in 1906. Three children were born to them, and all died in 
childhood. He is survived by his wife, three sisters and six brothers. Funeral 
service was held in the United Church in Huntingdon PQ, conducted by Rev. J. W. 
Woodside, his pastor, assisted by Rev. P. Sampson, and Rev. J. H. Miller. 
Interred in Huntingdon Cemetery. 
02-22-1934 Margaret Gilbert, daughter of the late James Gilbert and his wife 
Agnes Muir, of Hinchinbrooke PQ, natives of Scotland, who came to Canada in 1851 
and farmed in Hinchinbrooke, near Dewittville, died at the home of Mr. Robert 
Merson, Elgin Township PQ, age 76 years 06 months. Survived by seven children, 
Robert, Agnes, John, Archibald, Matthew, Margaret and Jessie, only surviving is 
Jessie, Mrs. Samuel Lamb of Franklin. Also five nieces and two nephews, three of 
the nieces are daughters of her brother Robert, being Margaret of Huntingdon, 
Jean, Mrs. Alex Rember of Ormstown PQ, and Mary of Montreal. The other two 
nieces are daughters of her sister, Mrs. Lamb, being Agnes, Mrs. Derek of Noyan, 
PQ, and Margaret, Mrs. Williams Sutton of Franklin PQ, three nephews, are sons 
of Mrs. Lamb, being James, presently on the Gilbert farm, in Hinchinbrooke, and 
Edwin and Clifford, both of Franklin. Funeral service was held at St. Andrew's

in Huntingdon PQ. Service was conducted at the residence of her brother-in-law,

Knox Presbyterian Church. Following the service the body was taken to the old 
family home at Huntingdon P.Q. and burial will take place in the family plot

member of the Zion Church. He graduated from Fort Covington high school and 
later attended St. Lawrence University in Canton Ohio. He was a representative 
for the Ligget and Meyers Tobacco Company. He was a member of the company number 
1,105th infantry, New York National Guard. Relatives surviving are his father 
and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. George H. McDonald of Brushton, his grandmother,

Stanley of the Sault. Mr. Donaldson, whose home is in Woolstock, Iowa, came to 
the Sault seven weeks ago to be with his sister. Private funeral service was 
held at the Stanley Home Friday afternoon. The body was taken to Webster City 
Iowa, for burial.

of Robert Whiteford and Agnes Sangster, born at St Louis de Gonzague December 
12th, 1848. She married John Ligget, (tailor), in Ormstown PQ in March, 1887,

lives at Pincher Creek, Alberta. He was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret,

Lennoxville, Bedford and Farnham PQ, as well as Elma,Battersea, Kingston, 
Spencerville, Almonte, and Chesterville, in Ont.. He is survived by his second 
wife, the former Miss Isabel Stowell, of St. Agnes, and by one son, and one 
daughter, funeral service held at his home Wednesday.

Erin, Godmanchester PQ, age 53 years. She is survived by her husband, and two 
sons, Allan and Allister, and by her father, Robert Whittal and by three

Georgia in Regina SK, sisters are Mrs. Sherry, and Mrs. Clarke in Godmanchester, 
Mrs. Cunningham in New York, and Mrs. McCaig at High River, Alberta. Funeral was 
held in Huntingdon United Church, and service conducted by the Rev. J. H. 
Miller, and was assisted by the Rev. J.B.Maclean, D.D. and Rev. Robert Smith, D. 
D.. Interred in the family plot in the Huntingdon Cemetery.

05-10-1934 Benjamin Monteith Douglass, died suddenly at New Erin, Godmanchester 
PQ, age 82 years 06 months. He was the youngest son of the late Robert Douglass 
and Martha Monteith, his entire life was spent on the Douglass homestead, which 
was the first farm in this part of the Township to be cultivated. In 1877, he 
married Eliza Ann Furey, by which marriage he had three children, Harry, Mabel, 
Mrs. John Taylor, who reside in Huntingdon, and Robert who died in infancy. In 
September 1886 he married Clarissa Cameron of Martintown Ont., who pre-deceased 
him eight years ago. By this marriage he leaves one son and five daughters.

company. Mrs. Sparrow is survived by her husband, two sons, Allison and Adrian,

Dallas TX, Mr. McNeil was born Dec.08, 1888, at Ormstown PQ. He served overseas 
during the war with the American forces. Surviving are his wife, two brothers, 
John and Earl McNeil of Bladsworth Saskatchewan, and a sister, Miss. Edna's 
McNeil of Montreal, a brother, Archie McNeil of Ormstown PQ, pre-deceased him 
years ago. 
05-27-1934 Peter Caldwell, died at Louisville KY, age 98 years. Born and 
received his education at Huntingdon PQ, also at Malone New York high school, 
and later at Middlebury college in Vermont. 
06-05-1934 Mrs. David Barrington, one of the oldest residence of the community, 
died age 91 years. She resided with her son John on the farm which she and her 
husband who pre-deceased her five years ago, purchased from the late Mr. George 
Baker 56 years ago, situated on what is known as Logan's Point Road, near Howick 
PQ. Many were the hard days of labor spent by them during that time, 
transforming the wooded farm with its log house and barns to one the best 
cultivated and modern farmers in the Chateauguay Valley. She is survived by her 
three sons, James and David A of Ormstown, John with whom she lived, eight 
grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services was held in the 
Georgetown Presbyterian Church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. James Watson, 
assisted by Rev. W. Ross and Rev. W. T. Payne of Ormstown PQ. Interred in the 
Anglican Cemetery in Ormstown PQ.

years. He was born in 1862, He is the last of a family of eight to pass away. In 
1894 he married Miss Mattie Lowery, who is left to mourn, also two sons, Gordon 
and Edgar Helm, also three daughters, Mrs. Robert Ovens, and Mrs. Clarence Cowan 
of Ormstown and Mrs. David Booth of Huntingdon, also one grandchild. The funeral 
was conducted by Rev. Mr. Woodside, assisted by Rev. Mr. Miller from the United 
Church in Huntingdon. 
06-21-1934 William C. MacArthur, beloved husband of Annie McMillan, died at the 
home of his sister, Miss. Jessie McArthur, 45 Tremont Street, Lawrence 
Massachusetts. He leaves his wife, his sister, Miss. Jessie McArthur and a 
number of relatives. His remains came to Huntingdon and then to Zion Church in 
Dundee for burial. A short service was held at the grave conducted by Rev.

Radway's Ready Relief, who survives him. He became president of Radway's Ready

the Notre Dame Convent here and later graduated from the Valleyfield Convent. On 
August 10,1884, she was married to Auruse Cossette of Valleyfield. In 1902 she 
moved to Utica New York going from there to Hamilton New York in 1915. The 
deceased is survived by her husband and four children. Mrs. Earl Brassel of 
Utica New York, Mrs.Claes Johnson of Waterville New York, Alexander of Hamilton, 
and Wilfred of Oriskany Falls New York. Funeral services were held Saturday 
morning in Saint Mary Church, Rev. father Shapley officiated. Burial took place

10-29-1934 Mary Murphy, widow of the late William Feeny, who pre-deceased her 10 
years ago, died at Huntingdon PQ, age 63 years. She was the eldest daughter of 
the late George Murphy and Mary Durnin. She was born in New Erin, Godmanchester 
PQ, 63 years ago. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. William Cleary, of 
Wilson's Corners PQ, Mrs. John Newell, of Dunraven PQ, Mrs. Armand Longtin, of 
Huntingdon, Mrs. Roy Murphy of Ormstown PQ, and three sons, George, William and 
Patrick all of New Erin. Also by three brothers, Daniel of Butte Montana, James 
of Huntingdon and Frances of Kississing, Manitoba. Funeral mass at St. Joseph's 
Church in Huntingdon PQ, by Rev. John Durnin, nephew of Mrs. Feeny. Interred in

10-27-1934 James Ferns Sr, husband of Mary Jane Dixon, died at Dewittville PQ, 
age 73 years. He was the youngest son of the late John Ferns and Annie Burrows. 
About 50 years ago he was united in marriage with Mary Jane Dixon, who survives 
him. To this union were born three sons and five daughters, Herbert, John and 
James, Mattie, Mrs. William Harvey, Annabelle, Mrs. Arthur Elliott, Mary, Mrs. 
George Beattie, Queenie, Mrs. John Pringle, and Margaret, Mrs. Fred Roy, who 
pre-deceased him fifteen years ago, also 16 grandchildren. Funeral service held 
in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, service conducted by Rev. J.B.Maclean, D.D.
10-30-1934 William R. Stewart, Mayor of Elgin Township, was accidentally killed 
near Malone New York, aged seventy years. Surviving are Mrs. Stewart, and their 
daughters, Miss Claire of Hartford Connecticut, Miss Audrey of Montreal, Mrs. J. 
Morris Hunter of Huntingdon, and Miss Enid at home, and the only son Cameron, 
also at home. Funeral was held from the home to the Athelstan Presbyterian 
Church.

age 44 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, and 11 children, two boys

10-31-1934 M. Montigue, beloved wife of Edward Collett, died at the home of her 
son-in-law, Mr. Mrs. Joseph Gardner, of Fort Covington New York, age 82 years. 
Mrs Collett was born 82 years ago in Ormstown PQ, daughter of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. Louis Montigue. At the age of 22, she was united in marriage to Mr. Edward 
Collett, also of Ormstown PQ. Besides her husband she is survived by five 
daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gardner of Fort Covington, Mrs.Alcide Leblanc, of St. 
Agnes PQ, Mrs. Mary Chalette of Montreal, Mrs. George LaCombe of Fort Covington, 
Mrs. Fred Quenneville, of Fort Covington, and one son, Donat Collett of 
Montreal, four other children pre-deceased their mother. Funeral service 
conducted in St. Mary's Church by her pastor, Rev. J. R. Lauzon. Interred in St. 
Mary Cemetery.

10-29-1934 Miss Margaret E. Campion, died at her residence in St. Chrysostome 
PQ,. She was the eldest daughter of the late Michael Campion, architect, and 
Mary Costello. Graduating from McGill University she became principal of a young 
ladies academy in Montreal under the control of the Catholic school board in PQ, 
studying both German and Italian. She is survived by one brother and sister, Mr. 
Andrew M. Campion, and Mrs. W.Senecal of Montreal, several nieces and nephews 
also. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father J. Vincent parish priest, assisted by 
Rev. Father Dicaire.

of Agnes Brodie and William Gordon, a direct descendant of the Gordon Clan. She 
was born on a farm in LaGuerre PQ. She married Samuel M. Miller at Fort 
Covington New York and they settled on a farm in Dundee PQ. Her husband died 
about eight years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Grace, Mrs. H. H. Kerr of 
Dundee PQ, Mabel, Mrs. H. P. Stockwell of Stanstead PQ, and Lottie, Mrs. Leslie 
Ryan, of Rouses Point, New York, eight grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren. Funeral held at Zion United Church in Dundee PQ, service 
conducted by Rev.C.Houghton, assisted by Mr. William Duncan of Kensington.

11-07-1934 William C. Walsh, Husband of Alice Elizabeth Rice, Formerly of 
Huntingdon PQ, Died At Faust, New York, Age 74 Years. He was born May 26, 1860 
in Huntingdon PQ, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walsh. He was united in marriage 
with Alice Elizabeth Rice of Huntingdon who survived him, besides his wife, he 
leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Peer, and Irene and Rubina, of Faust,also two 
sons Earl and Wilson Walsh of Faust, besides several grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews, residing in Helena Montana, Montreal and Huntingdon. He was the last 
survivor of a family of 14 children. Funeral services held from Holy Name

in Ormstown PQ, age 94 years. He was the son of David Kee and Martha Bateson, 
who came from the north of Ireland to Ormstown in 1841, Sir Robert Bateson of 
Belfast Ireland, was an uncle of the deceased. He was Mayor of Ormstown in 1903 
to 1905. He is survived by his Widow, Mary Adelaide Hood, a son, Dr. F. W. Kee, 
of Sheldon Illinois, three daughters, Mrs. A E Atwood of Ottawa Ont, Miss Alice 
Kee, of Montreal, and Mrs. William Oliver of Saskatoon Saskatchewan, seven 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas D. Kee of Los Angeles 
CA, pre-deceased him in 1927. Funeral service held at the Presbyterian Church

12-02-1934 Archibald McIntyre, died at the Gore, Hinchinbrooke PQ, Interred at 
Ormstown PQ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie McIntyre of Allans 
Corners PQ, born there on Sept. 15, 1870, and lived there 47 years, for the last 
17 years he has been a resident of the Gore, Hinchinbrooke PQ. In 1912 he was 
united in marriage to Mary Adaline McWhinnie, who predeceased him 22 years ago. 
To this union was born three daughters, Hazel, who predeceased him twenty three 
years ago. In 1917 he was united in marriage to Agnes Mulhurn, who survived him, 
also six sons, Lorne, Archie, Angus, Norris, Dugall and Arnold, to daughters, 
Florence, Mrs. Alexander Evans, Millie, Mrs. Dan Hamilton, three grandchildren, 
two sisters and four brothers. Service conducted by Rev. T. F. Duncan assisted 
by Dr. J.B.Maclean and Rev. Mr. Payne, Interred in Ormstown Cemetery.

University and Dartmouth college. Dr. Waller married Cyrenie O Johnson of 
Chateauguay New York. He is survived by one son, Schuyler Waller, D.M.D.

24, 1878. He being a blacksmith and wheelwright, who predeceased her Dec. 19, 
1924. Their eldest daughter died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss, one 
son, Wilbert of Franklin Center, a sister, Mrs. Henry Rennie of Brooklet PQ, 
also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, also a number of nieces and

Ont., Hermann Stockwell of Montreal, Ivan Stockwell of Buckingham PQ, and Walter 
and William Stockwell, students at McGill University. His mother, Mrs. Mary 
Stockwell, five sisters, one of which is Mrs. A F. Bullock of Ormstown PQ. 
12-31-1934 T. S. Miller, died suddenly of pneumonia, age 65 years. He leaves his 
widow, and adopted daughter, Ruthie. Also survived by two brothers, Rev. 
Alexander Miller of Lebanon Ont., and Charles of Winnipeg. Funeral held from the 
United Church. 
12-26-1934 To Mr. and Mrs. T. Gallipeau, at Huntingdon PQ, a daughter, (Helen 
Eva Margaret). 
12-30-1934 To Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Murdoch, at Syracuse New York, a son.

John NB, and of Mrs. Moore of Westmount PQ, married Howard Bartley, son of Mr. 
H. W. Bartley and the late Mrs. Bartley of Hull England. At the residence of the 
brides mother, at Grosvenor Avenue, Westmount PQ, by the Rev. David Scott of 
Knox Crescent Presbyterian Church. 
12-25-1934 Mervyn Forrester, married Melba J.McD Watt, second daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Watt, of 240 Agnes Street, Winnipeg MB, and granddaughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. John Watt of Havelock PQ. At the Presbyterian Manse in Ormstown PQ, by Rev.
