Inspired by the Irish-Canadian List, CanadaGenWeb’s Immigrants to Canada List is a project meant to identify ancestors who left their home countries to start a new life in Canada.

This list is the place to share information about your immigrant ancestor, where they came from, when, and where in Canada they emigrated to.

An Immigrant Ancestor is a person in your lineage who was born in another country and came to Canada to live.

If you have more than one immigrant ancestor to submit, fill this form out for each immigrant ancestor separately. We will only accept one ancestor per submission form. (If your ancestor immigrated with siblings or children, please include them with your ancestor, not as a separate entry)

Is this your first time posting to The Immigrants To Canada List? PLEASE take a moment to view our current listings to see how this website works.
